Acceptance to The Pilgrimage is offered on a rolling basis.

Cost:
We use a sliding scale tuition model to help make The Pilgrimage accessible to young men regardless of their family’s socioeconomic situation.
We are resolute in our commitment to making The Pilgrimage accessible to all young men called to the pursuit of becoming courageous citizens.

Covers all costs associated with your son’s trip, one year of mentoring during the 2021-2022 school year, AND will cover the cost of 1/3 of another boy’s experience.

Covers all costs associated with your son’s trip AND one year of mentoring during the 2021-2022 school year.

Thanks to the generosity of the Los Padres family, we have established a fund for families in need of financial assistance. If you are not in a position to pay the full amount, no worries. Apply for The Pilgrimage and if you are accepted, we will discuss what sort of assistance we are able to direct towards your experience.
If you are interested in contributing more than the published maximum $10,000 tuition to support our financial accessibility goals, thank you! We would love to talk in greater detail and work with you to come up with a plan.
Whats included in the program tuition?
All associated program expenses(food, travel, park fees, etc)
Airfare to and from Peru(departing as a group from LAX)
Wilderness First Aid certification
One year of mentoring and group support during the 2021-22 school year
Whats NOT included in the program tuition*?
Travel to and from LPAC HQ in Carpinteria, CA at the start and finish of the trip. Estimated cost if flying to LAX/SBA: $250-500 depending on city of origin.
Expedition Travel Insurance - we have partnered with World Nomads, a leading provider of trip insurance. ALL families must have proof of insurance. More information, including cost estimates will be provided during our pre-trip registration process.
*For families receiving financial assistance, your aid package is inclusive of these ancillary expenses. We will do every thing we can to alleviate the costs associated with your son’s participation in The Pilgrimage.
